HELPFUL INFO
Aurifil Spool Code/Usage
Aurifil has an unique
locking spools. After you remove the plastic from your spool of
Aurifil thread,
the thread end may be tucked under the end cap on the spool. Gently
twist and
turn the cap to remove the cap from the spool core to get to the
thread end.
Return the cap to the core and start sewing. On the bottom of the
cap, you will
find thread color information so always keep the cap and the spool
together.
When you are finished sewing twist the cap off and wrap the thread
tail around
the core and put the cap back on the spool. No more messy spools
with thread
trailing around.
